  14. The XAD system is for file extraction from archives! It can be compared
  15. to XFD system, which is for single file decrunching. They do different
  16. work, but are used together often.
  17.  
  18. This is a library providing an interface for unarchiving all possible
  19. types of file or disk archives. It is NOT an archiver GUI or anything
  20. like that. This system does the COMPLETE unarchiving stuff with internal
  21. routines, NOT calling shell programs or using other programs to do the
  22. work!
  23.  
  24. The interface can be built by application programs like included shell
  25. utilities. It provides same features and interface for ALL types of
  26. supported archivers. E.g. virus checkers could use this system to do
  27. very comfortable background archive checking.

  46. - Replaced GameDemoFS, Trackmo-DOS, SensiDisk and NiteTimeGameDos with
  47.   AmigaGameDemoFS from Ronald van Dijk. Delete the clients in your system
  48.   or use the supplied Install script to delete them.
  49. - Added support for PMARC (a CP/M archiver by Yoshihiko Mino) to the LhA
  50.   client.
  51. - Added support for Archimedes nspark archives to Arc archiver.
  52. - Fixed LhSFX recognition.
  53. - The xadUnFile, xadUnFileM and xadUnDisk programs support reading from
  54.   disks now. This means you can extract filesystem data or create disk-images
  55.   as well as copy disks with XAD.
  56. - Added AmosSampBank client from Stuart Caie.
  57. - Replaced Cpio by a more functional internal version which supports the pax
  58.   format type (070707) also. Remove the external Cpio file.
  59. - Added SFS client from Andrew Bell.
  60. - Added ISO9660 date structure.

  63. will get Shareware requests if installing it! Contact me for special
  64. conditions to get the registered version (the keyfile).
